What does the booking process look like?

Somehow you’ve found me in my little inter web corner! You reach out to me with your vision, date, and if everything works out, we get you booked. I require a 30% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to secure your date. We then discuss location, logistics, and the day before your shoot your remaining balance is due! We frolic and have fun the day of our shoot, and you anxiously await your photos to arrive.

Do you offer mini sessions?

I offer a limited amount of mini sessions per year. They are announced via Instagram and are popular with my clients. They are 20 minutes long yielding 15 high resolution, edited images of my own choosing. Other than the predetermined mini shoot dates, my sessions are a minimum of 1 hour long.

What’s the turnaround time to receive my photos?

I commit to a minimum of (3) weeks from our session date to turn around your edited photos to your inbox!

What’s included in the price?

The price I give you includes the on-site shooting and off-site editing time. The gallery is delivered to your email which gives you full access to a high resolution, edited photo gallery curated by me. You have full rights to do what you want with the pics!

Will I receive any unedited photos?

I do not share any RAW images with anyone, ever.

Do you offer printing options?

Prints are available to purchase through the store accessible from your gallery.

Will you have a second shooter at my wedding?

At all of the wedding’s I’ve shot, it’s been just me. If you prefer a second shooter, we can definitely discuss adding one to the team!

Can I send you a shot for shot list of what images I want?

I definitely will need your help when it comes to images of you & all of your family members, as I won’t know your family tree and the importance of particular sibling photo combinations, etc.! However, I do not oblige photography image shot lists. You are hiring me for my eye and I ask for artistic freedom throughout the day.

What wedding advice do you have when considering my wedding logistics?

Prioritize the portrait photos between the two of you above anything else. The more people you start introducing into your itinerary, the more distracted you’ll be! Tidy the hotel room for when I arrive. Utilize natural light and outdoors as much as possible for portraits. Splurge on the photographer of your dreams. Things get un-interesting through the camera lens the moment people sit down to eat. I love working through planning logistics, so let’s work on what our time looks like together.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I’m based out of Chicago-land and am open to traveling 100%.

How many photos will I get?

I never promise a set amount of photos as every session is different. I confidently would say that every hour of shooting yields at least 50 high quality, edited photos. 

Do you retouch photos?

If you require additional editing after delivery of the gallery, we can discuss what those changes would be, for an additional cost.

Will you pose us?

I thrive on capturing the organic behavior and in-between moments and have gotten many compliments in regards to capturing my clients’ true essence. I will definitely direct minor adjustments and there may be some funky and unnatural moments, but all for the cuteness of photos! The spontaneous and unposed photos are usually my favorites.

What about cancellation or rescheduling?

I know that unexpected situations can occur. The nonrefundable deposit serves as a safeguard, covering the possibility of rejecting other bookings on your session day. Although it's nonrefundable, I am open to rescheduling for a future date that accommodates both of our schedules. Let's work together to find a suitable alternative for your session.
